From someplace where the local language is Dutch. KLM and Amsterdam? Er, no. Try Insel Air to Curacao twice a week starting on June 22nd.
Charlotte is only the carrier’s second U.S. destination, after (duh) Miami. The idea is apparently to use US Airways’ big hub here to help funnel tourists down to Curacao. For that to work, Insel Air may need a codeshare arrangement with US Airways, not sure that the interline agreement it has is enough for the route to succeed.
Bonus observation: Delta Air Lines has twice tried Atlanta – Curacao and failed to make it work. That is not a good sign.
