This is crazy.
Todd Fuller alerts us to the fact that the UNCC transit “study” has been modified to fix obvious errors. Now errors in the original cost of the line and in its length have been corrected. There is no note anywhere that I can find that details these changes.
As we have repeatedly noted, Tables 10 and Table 11 of the report as released in early May contained wrong info. This can be plainly seen in this original version of the report. The document properties indicate that this version was last modified by “ehauser” on May 7.
In the version of the report now up at the UNCC Web site those errors have been corrected. (A copy of this version has been archived here in case it reverts back.)
This version’s properties indicate a modification by “ehauser” on July 2.
When you compare Tables 10 and 11 of the two versions side by side, you can see the changes.
I eagerly await UNCC’s reaction to this news.
