No joke: a small-town police chief in New Hampshire is getting national attention for his initiative to arrest illegals on routine traffic stops and charge them with trespassing.
New Hampshire’s trespassing law…states: “A person is guilty of criminal trespass if, knowing he is not licensed or privileged to do so, he enters or remains in any place.”
(The police department) planned to demand that illegal immigrants report to an immigration office within 72 hours of pleading guilty.
The local prosecutor and the state attorney general gave a “thumbs-up” to the idea. Let’s see where this goes nationally.
