Among the latest batch of opinions released from the N.C. Court of Appeals this morning:

  • A unanimous three-judge panel ruled in favor of Canton in a dispute over its ownership of the 110-acre Camp Hope property.
  • A unanimous three-judge panel vacated a lower court’s ruling in a building dispute involving the Nags Head Board of Adjustment. The judges ruled that the BOA violated its procedure when rejecting a proposed variance.
  • Judges ruled, 2-1, to uphold a ruling from the N.C. Industrial Commission favoring a UNC-Chapel Hill employee in his dispute over temporary disability compensation.
  • A unanimous three-judge panel affirmed a trial court’s ruling favoring Hickory in a dispute involving water damage at the Catawba Country Club in 2009.
