Higher Expectations Week was November 13-19 of this year.  What is Higher Expectations Week?  It’s “a
time of concentrated examination of how the Wal-Martization of the U.S.
economy affects everyone.”  Read
the new paper by Walmart Watch and Interfaith Worker Justice here and note that they “concentrate” their “examination” on the negative effects of Wal-Martization.

Anyone
care to comment on the Anti-Wal-Mart crowd’s use of religion in this
paper, particularly the phrase “to whom much is given, much is
expected”?  I, for one, never gave Wal-Mart anything and I certainly don’t expect them to give me anything either.
