Spry Strategies recently conducted a U.S. Senate Republican primary and issue poll on behalf of the John Locke Foundation and Carolina Journal.

Spry Strategies surveyed 700 North Carolinians that were likely to vote in the Republican primary in 2022.  In addition to questions about declared candidates in the U.S. Senate race, the firm asked respondents if they wanted more or less funding for charter schools, the Opportunity Scholarship Program, and other school choice initiatives.

Nearly 75% of those surveyed wanted more school choice funding, while only around 16% supported Governor Cooper’s desire to cut funding for educational options.
