I think it is worthwhile knowing that the North Carolina representative didn’t engage in any other embarrassing, juvenile behavior that would be fun to see her named linked with in a headline, e.g.:

  • Ellmers went to Israel, did not moon passers-by
  • Ellmers went to Israel, did not dump pig’s blood on the prom queen
  • Ellmers went to Israel, did not place whoopie cushions on people’s seats
  • Ellmers went to Israel, did not draw crude sexual graffiti on the bathroom stall

When news doesn’t break, we fix it.
