Robeson County school officials feel deceived.

In October, the state released $2.1 million to Robeson County. Soon, Robeson school officials discovered that $1.2 million of that funding must be used for the county’s More At Four program, supplanting state funding already in place for that purpose. One Robeson County school board member said, ?I always thought the lottery money would be surplus money.?

Apparently, word did not get around that the fix was in.
