As state lawmakers gather ideas for the next round of regulatory reform in North Carolina, the John Locke Foundation is highlighting the full chapter devoted to the topic in the new book First In Freedom.
Jon Sanders sets out a number of ideas designed to increase transparency and accountability in the rulemaking process. Among the most interesting suggestions is one which would establish a state-level version of the federal REINS legislation.
