While the N&R rightly says the state’s practice of borrowing without voter consent must stop, the paper’s nevertheless bummed that N.C. A&T’s new engineering facility didn’t make the budget cut, arguing a “stronger School of Engineering at A&T will help pump new life into Greensboro’s economy.”

I’m still waiting for the nanoscience school to pump new life into Greensboro’s economy. It hasn’t happened yet, unless I’m missing something.
