I?ve done what any responsible citizen is supposed to do when faced with an important policy issue. I?ve taken steps to educate myself. I?d read widely. I?ve talked to public officials and waited, patiently, for them to wake up to the perils of climate change and do something about it.
But I?ve had it. No more patience. No more talk. No more excuses. I think it?s time to demand that our politicians do something right now to combat the scourge of climate change. We can?t just let average global temperatures continue to fall! What, do those do-nothings in Congress really want us to starve, shiver, and freeze to death?
I see the greedy hands of Big Coat and Big Heating Oil pulling the politicians? strings. They must be stopped at all costs.
