Oklahoma’s lottery is less than 24 hours old and already state residents are getting an, ahem, education. One couple says a clerk sold them phone cards instead of lotto tickets and then, well, it just gets better:

“I got twenty of them and went out to the car and started scratching them off,” says Gaylen Pelts. “And, he got to noticing they weren’t actually lottery tickets and went back in and tried to get our money and he said they are as is, no refunds.”

The clerk at the store in question claims he never lied to anyone. But, the Lottery Commission has started an investigation into the incident.

Yes, sir. The lottery. For education!
