Seven black youths attack two white men on a Baltimore bus. The victims said it was because they were black. No mention of possible hate crime in the account.

UPDATE: This incident, however, is already being considered by cops as eligible for an upgrade to “hate status.” There’s a positive side to this story, too, as a Muslim college student came to the defense of the Jewish men who were being attacked by 10 other people, allegedly because they said “Happy Hannukah” in response to a “Merry Christmas” from the alleged attackers. The race of the 10 attackers is not mentioned in the story.
