The Tampa Tribune reports here on Pasco County, Florida commissioners, who have voted to use public money to entice European nudists to the area. The recipient of the nearly $4,000 “tourism development grant”  is a group known as PANDAbare.

The nonprofit will launch a marketing campaign targeting nudists from Germany and England to use Pasco County as their home base while they venture out to visit museums, beaches, amusement parks and the Space Coast.

The ads will be published in international magazines, such as “Internaturally,” that cater to the naturist lifestyle.

This is an inappropriate use of public money for so many reasons, I’m not sure where to start. If you appropriate tax dollars to a  nudist group, what group won’t you appropriate money to?
