The Pope Center for Higher Education Policy continues to attract attention for its report citing the high barriers to entry in the legal profession in North Carolina. The president of the Mecklenburg County Bar cited the report this week in an opinion piece for the Charlotte Observer. A letter in the News & Observer thanked the Pope Center and Vice President George Leef for highlighting the problems associated with the state’s unnecessary legal barriers.
