The not so minor problem is that Mecklenburg County cannot afford the debt on all the things CMS would like to build, forcing the board into the unfamiliar territory of actually having to set priorities.

Watch this develop into a political football game with all the tired buzzwords of “equity” and “fairness” thrown about. In other words, CMS will get back on script and forget about actual needs.
