….According to Steve Tanis of Greensboro, who weighs in on Roy Carroll’s tower in an N&R letter to the editor:
I was amused at the News & Record’s article purporting that downtown is regaining health simply because of a tower crane….The spin is wonderful, but one has to wonder exactly how the addition of luxury condos to the downtown neighborhood helps the city, especially when taxpayers are providing $2 million to help a private developer build these condos.
