Today’s N&R print edition covers Kay Hagan’s membership in the formerly segregated Greensboro Country Club, but buries it at the bottom of B2.
The N&R had mentioned the issue at Decision 2008. Maybe they thought that was good enough, since hardly anyone reads the print edition anyway.
Meanwhile, Guarino ponders Hagan’s stance on gay marriage. Bottom line is Hagan is giving us no reason to believe she’d buck the liberal Democrat party stance on any issue.
Note also how Hagan’s Godless Americans PAC fundraiser comes up in the comments here, with a Hagan supporter claiming the “Boston fundraiser had more than 40 co-hosts, two of them being supporters of the PAC. Hagan went to Boston for the fundraiser, NOT to support the PAC.”
So basically Hagan violated her principles for the sake of campaign money, something I thought liberals dispised.
