HPE reports:

The owner of Oak Hollow Mall wants to sell the 800,000-square-foot shopping center that opened 13 years ago, according to sources aware of the negotiations.

CBL & Associates Properties Inc., one of the country’s largest shopping center companies, has discussed having a deal brokered for High Point’s biggest shopping complex, according to at least three sources, who asked to remain anonymous.

….In the past two to three years, Oak Hollow Mall has coped with store closings. CBL & Associates listed Oak Hollow Mall’s occupancy rate at nearly 80 percent in a financial statement filed at the end of 2007, Reinsmidt said.

More stores have closed at Oak Hollow Mall since the statement was filed at the end of last year.

Oak Hollow’s been dealing with occupancy issues for quite some time.
