Barack Obama won 77 percent of the Jewish vote in November, for reasons that are still unclear to almost everyone. The statement below by a Democrat makes it even more puzzling:
“Barack Obama still has to prove himself to American friends of Israel, who still don’t know where his heart is on Israel,†said a Democratic member of the House of Representatives.
There are only two things to take away from that statement: 1) Many of the 77 percent who voted for Obama are NOT friends of Israel, or, 2) They didn’t really care “where his heart is on Israel” when they went to the polls. Both scenarios are depressing.
