Wilmington-area radio listeners had a chance this week to hear John Locke Foundation Vice President for Communications Jon Ham dissect President Obama’s inaugural speech. Ham and WLTT’s Chad Adams discussed how the president’s speech signaled his intentions for the next four years. Ham’s thoughts about U.S. Sen. Kay Hagan’s approach to gun control also attracted attention from the Beaufort Observer.

The presidential inauguration prompted questions during Vice President for Outreach Becki Gray‘s latest appearance on News 14 Carolina’s “Capital Tonight.” Gray also discussed gun control and the upcoming North Carolina legislative session for viewers of that statewide television program. Both the Winston-Salem Journal and Clemmons Courier promoted Gray’s speech this week to the Forsyth County Republican Women. That speech focused on the upcoming legislative session and new Gov. Pat McCrory’s priorities. The Jefferson Post published Gray’s column on the prospects for sweeping government reform in the new year.
