In the latest Phi Delta Kappa poll, a plurality of respondents said that Barack Obama would do a better job promoting school choice than John McCain (43 percent vs. 32 percent). That is weird, wacky stuff.

Well, I can understand the confusion. Obama was for school choice before he was against it. This is not a flip flop. Obama merely refined his position to one that is the complete opposite of a previous position.

At the moment, he is against school choice (except when a family is wealthy enough to send their children to a private school, as the Obamas do). School choice ain’t gonna happen under an Obama administration, which will likely pack the halls of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building with friends of the NEA and AFT.
