UPDATE: This looks like a dirty trick against the Clinton team, by whom, no one seems to know. See updates below.
Surprise, surprise. A group of Democratic political operatives making fun of rural white people, even using the famous Sen. Robert Byrd term “white n—-rs.”
And who are these operatives looking down their noses at the people of Indiana? It’s James Carville, George Stephanopoulos and Mickey Kantor in 1992. You all know Stephanopoulos from ABC News. Former Bill Clinton operative Carville is married to conservative Mary Matalin and still advises Hillary, and Kantor, the one who employs the slurs, was a Bill Clinton cabinet member and is a Hillary advisor this year.
I wonder if George will ask Hillary about this in their Indiana town meeting this weekend. I doubt it. Watch and learn:
UPDATE: Kantor says the tape has been doctored. Some say possibly, some say no way. Anyway, here’s where you can find all the speculation. If it’s a dirty trick, meaning an actual doctoring of a tape instead of just releasing the tape, we all know who stands to gain.
UPDATE: The video above is no longer available. Was it taken down by YouTube because the N-word was used? Or did someone who possibly doctored the tape take it down? The one below shows the same scene supposedly shown in the one above, but either the one above had been edited differently or the one below has. i can’t compare them since the first one is not available. On the one below there is no way to tell what Kantor says to Stephanopoulos under his breath at around the 4:30 mark. He does clearly say Indianans are sh*t, so there’s that.
