President Obama is planning to visit Asheville today after his State of the Union address. Why Asheville? Why North Carolina? Some say he is coming to gain support for Kay Hagan as her election is nearing, some say he likes the Asheville area and wants to visit, and some think he is trying to take his message of jobs to main street and tell the people of his plans. Regardless of his decision, he will find a different sentiment in North Carolina than he has in the past. North Carolina is the only state that changed their electoral college vote in 2008 and 2012.
