There are all kinds of questions surrounding ObamaCare and North Carolina’s response to it.  Yesterday, Republicans in the General Assembly introduced legislation that would block the expansion of Medicaid and leave the creation of a health exchange to the federal government, rather than the state creating one.

This seems to be broadly in keeping with the recommendations of Sean Riley, Director of the Health and Human Services Task Force at the American Legislative Exchange Council, who penned a chapter on ObamaCare for First in Freedom, the Locke Foundation’s most recent book, released last week.  For a serious and detailed look at this policy, and others crucial to North Carolina in 2013, the book is well worth a read.
