Professor George Reisman excoriates our Beloved Leader for his apparent ignorance of the impact of unionization, namely to impede production, efficiency, and employment. Read his piece here.
Of course, it may be that Obama does know that unions impede production, efficiency and employment, but doesn’t care because he values the support he gets from them more than the economic losses bother him.
It’s worth noting that while Obama supports the Orwellian Employee Free Choice Act, he opposes individual freedom for workers who don’t want to submit to union domination. Again we see his authoritarian, collectivist mentality at work.
