Is that any surprise? Former ABC News Washington reporter Linda Douglass, who, until her defection to the Obamessiah’s campaign, worked for National Journal, said she “didn’t want to sit on the sidelines anymore.” And she’s not the first:
Douglass is the second on-air ABC News correspondent to join a Democratic presidential campaign. She follows ex-anchor Carole Simpson, who endorsed Hillary Clinton and makes public appearances for Clinton: hosting an infomercial for her and appearing on CNN on her behalf.
And let’s not forget Tim Russert, George Stephanopoulos and Chris Matthews who made the trip the other way, from Dem activist to the mainstream media anchors.
