But not out. Some sort of power glitch at the Uptown paper of record zapped the print run this AM, effectively nuking today’s paper. Good thing the paper has a decent Web site or lotsa work would’ve been in vain.
Bill Rosinski got off a good line on WFNZ this morning about the outage. Rosinski noted that as orders probably came down from the Powers That Be in the city to turn on “every stinking light” in all Uptown offices buildings so that Charlotte would look good on the Monday Night Football telecast, maybe that caused the power to fail in the Ob building.
Now that would be some Irony.
