The Raleigh Occupy movement is looking for a permanent place to set up a camp and the current Raleigh mayor and the mayor-elect are trying to help the occupiers secure a permanent location. The newest location mentioned is a private parking lot on Hillsborough Street.
Hopefully, since Democrats, including the President, members of Congress, and Raleigh Mayor Meeker are identifying and supporting the occupy movement, the occupy camp will be located near Democrat headquarters on Hillsborough Street. This will fulfill the occupiers’ demands and end taxpayer funding of the occupiers. They will have access to a bathroom and an electrical supply to charge their cell phones and laptops at Democrat headquarters.
