I kind of forgot about FedEx when discussing Greensboro Mayor Keith Holliday’s legacy last week. Guarino reminds us of that “single most momentus undertaking in which he had a role,” adding it “will likely have more impact on the future of the City of Greensboro and the Piedmont Triad than any other new initiative.”
I certainly think the jobs FedEx will positively impact Greensboro. I just hope the development around the hub pans out the way local leaders and economic developers say it will. As you may have noticed, I’ve lately been somewhat skeptical on the subject.
