Meck Deck’s been all over the ‘crooked and corrupt’ SEC officiating that helped steer Alabama and Florida toward the conference championship game en route to a shot at the national title.

OK, I’m not much of a conspiracy theorist, but I watched with amazement as the replay booth overturned what was obviously a fumble during last night’s Cincinnati-West Virginia game. The call tied the game and swung the momentum in the Bearcats’ favor, especially with a rejuvenated home crowd silenced by what should have been a Mountaineers goal-line stand.

Not that the Big East has anything invested in Cincinnati running the table, mind you.
