Today, we read news about South Carolina and Tennessee effectively taking steps to kick that 665.5 of a beast, a.k.a. Abomicare, outside their borders. This inspires me to give a shout-out to Robert Malt and Mark Hoaglund, two of the smartest guys in the area.

When a friend at a local paper needed some last-minute help, I called upon these two geniuses, among others, for local quotes. They were willing to drop what they were doing at inconvenient times and share what is only making scratch marks in the mainstream consciousness around here, now. The article, of course, never saw daylight. Among other things, these two guys talked about how we could take action like Missouri and Georgia then, and Tennessee and South Carolina now, are taking.

While this whiny post appears to be a plea to trebuchet that stenchy, totalitarian, codependent-creating pile of manure out of my universe, I am sure it is only just a tease to try to generate uncontrollable demand for publication of my great article – made so only by the valuable commentary of my brill contributors, of course.
