I have heard that in some college classes, one of the assignments is for students to play Monopoly, but with one player starting out with most of the money. That is supposed to let the students know how it “feels” to be among society’s privileged elite or among its downtrodden poor. I know how I’ll feel if either of my sons ever has to participate in such a deranged activity!
