Several other John Locke Foundation staffers spent time behind microphones or in front of audiences this week. Vice President for Outreach Becki Gray returned to N.C. Spin for a discussion of high-speed rail stimulus funding, Medicaid cost overruns, potential ethics reforms, and the impact of the “honest services” law. (Speaking of stimulus, the Duplin Times republished this week Gray’s column on stimulus funding stimulating government growth.) Meck Deck blogger Jeff Taylor returned to WBT Radio this week to discuss with Pete Kaliner the ongoing scandal involving the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. JLF communications director Mitch Kokai spent an hour Thursday on the “Free Markets With Dr. Mike Beitler” program for Voice America Talk Radio Network. Joseph Coletti, Director of Health Care and Fiscal Policy Studies, traveled east Thursday to discuss health care with the Al-Pam Republican Club, a presentation previewed in the Washington Daily News. Speaking of Coletti and health care, the Web site Topsy.com recently named Coletti an “influential” tweeter in the health-care debate.
