Adams also interviewed Roy Cordato, Vice President for Research and Resident Scholar, about government ozone standards and “action alert days.” Terry Stoops, Director of Education Studies, discussed the N.C. Senate’s education merit pay proposals during a 45-minute appearance on Lockwood Phillips’ “Viewpoints Radio” program on WTKF. Becki Gray, Vice President for Outreach, previewed the week’s legislative action for WTSB Radio listeners. Gray returned to the WTSB airwaves to recap the week’s events. Mitch Kokai, Director of Communications, delivered a legislative status report during an appearance with Curtis Wright on WAAV/WFNC. Kokai also traveled this week to Hendersonville to offer a progress report on the new Republican-led General Assembly to the Henderson County Republican Women’s Club. On the other side of the state, the Wilmington Star-News quoted Kokai in an article about the potential increase in court fees in the next state budget.
