JLF friend Tom Shuford has written a splendid piece (which you can read here) wherein he observes that candidates for advanced degrees in education administration have just about the lowest SAT and GRE scores of all, coming in 46th out of 51.
This is strong supporting evidence for an idea I have had for a long time — that the folks who head up our government education system are not very bright.
