Chad Adams is a frequent guest on WWNC’s “Matt Mittan Show” in Asheville,
and this week, he enlisted Adams to take over the microphone while
Mittan took a couple days off. Adams used the airtime to discuss state
and local government issues, and booked two JLF staffers as guests. Roy
Cordato joined the show to refute global warming alarmists’ frequent
claims that the earth is heading toward catastrophe that can only be
averted by drastic reductions in energy usage and the signing of the
Kyoto Protocol. Cordato explained that a new state commission on global
warming should acknowledge the split among the scientific community
over the science itself, and that the commission should welcome all
perspectives into the discussion. You can read Cordato’s Spotlight
paper here and
see a debate about climate science and the commission on Sunday’s “At
Issue” on NBC-17. Following Cordato’s appearance with Adams, Don
Carrington joined the show with an update on the legislative slush fund controversy and the Currituck ferry, an $834,000 project pushed by Sen. Marc Basnight that has seen unusual twists and turns.
