John Locke Foundation experts are hitting the road for presentations to groups across North Carolina. Vice President for Outreach Becki Gray delivered a legislative preview this week to the Raleigh Rotary Club. She also spoke about the General Assembly, the federal stimulus package, and an upcoming sales tax vote during a presentation to the Davie County Republican Men’s Club. Gray, Joseph Coletti, and Executive Vice President Kory Swanson met with representatives of the N.C. Department of Justice to discuss ways the department could improve its grade on the NCTransparency.com Web site. Meanwhile, Research Director and Local Government Analyst Michael Sanera discussed the constitutional principles of separation of powers and checks and balances during a presentation to students at St. Thomas More Academy.
