Vice President for Outreach Becki Gray discussed legislative issues with a Moore County Tea Party group and the Piedmont Club in Charlotte, while Director of Research and Local Government Studies Michael Sanera shared his constitutional knowledge with the Pitt County Republican Women in Greenville. The Fayetteville Observer‘s “People’s Business” blog promoted an upcoming Sept. 10 Citizen’s Constitutional Workshop in Sanford featuring Sanera and N.C. History Project Director Troy Kickler. The Fayetteville Observer also published Kickler’s column emphasizing the importance of state and local governments. Meanwhile, the Morganton News Herald cited Sanera’s local candidates’ checklist in an editorial about upcoming municipal campaigns. The Charlotte Observer and Fayetteville Observer websites noted JLF President John Hood‘s upcoming presentation to the Cabarrus Republican Women. In addition to her speech, Gray previewed the week’s state government news for WTSB Radio listeners. She returns to that Johnston County station’s airwaves this afternoon to recap the week’s events. Vice President for Research and Resident Scholar Roy Cordato discussed Keynesian economics during an appearance this week with Chad Adams on WLTT Radio’s morning program. Director of Communications Mitch Kokai discussed with Adams and WLTT listeners recent developments in the legal fight against ObamaCare and government’s role in creating jobs. Kokai discussed the week’s top state government developments with Curtis Wright on WAAV/WFNC. He also discussed voter fraud with WTVD Television. N.C. Education Alliance Director Lindalyn Kakadelis discussed No Child Left Behind issues with Lockwood Phillips during an appearance on WTKF’s “Viewpoints Radio.”
