The John Locke Foundation and N.C. History Project take their Citizen’s Constitutional Workshop to Sanford Saturday. Michael Sanera, JLF Director of Research and Local Government Studies, and Troy Kickler, NCHP Director, will discuss what the Founders and state ratification conventions can teach us today. The Sanford Herald promoted the event earlier this week. In addition to in-person presentations, JLF President John Hood returned to the WPTF Radio airwaves this week as a guest host for Bill LuMaye’s afternoon program. N.C. Senate Republicans promoted Hood’s columns this week on heated political rhetoric, dueling jobs plans, and the federal prosecution of former U.S. senator and presidential contender John Edwards.
