Gray also represented JLF at a Coalition for American Principles event in Raleigh and delivered a legislative update to the Blue Ridge Republican Women’s Club in Asheville. Carolina Journal Managing Editor Rick Henderson discussed election results with the Iredell County Republican Club, while JLF Director of Communications Mitch Kokai offered his election analysis to the Lee County Republican Club. Kokai also discussed the week’s political developments during his latest appearance with Curtis Wright on the WAAV/WFNC morning radio program. Michael Sanera, Director of Research and Local Government Studies, discussed this week’s local sales-tax votes with Lockwood Phillips for WTKF’s “Viewpoints Radio” show. Sanera and N.C. History Project Director Troy Kickler head to Hendersonville this weekend for their latest Citizens’ Constitutional Workshop. Daren Bakst, JLF Director of Legal and Regulatory Studies, participated in an energy-policy debate for Duke University’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. Fergus Hodgson, Director of Fiscal Policy Studies, spoke this week during the annual dialogue dinner at the Divan Center, a Turkish cultural center in Raleigh. In other radio news, E.A.
