The FreedomWorks 2005 tour continued to spread the message of
limited government and low taxes across the state this week. Chad
Adams, the tour’s keynote speaker, made stops in Shelby and Washington,
where his remarks generated a story in the Washington Daily News.
Among other things, Adams commented on the alarming, anti-property
rights Supreme Court decision (Kelo vs. City of New London), describing
it as a decision that should scare people. While near the coast, he
also spoke to the Oak Island Lion’s Club. In the past several weeks,
Adams has visited 15 counties.
