The headline notwithstanding, I have to give kudos to the 81 percent who said they’d never accept a government bailout:
Only 19% of news executives say they would support government subsidies for news organizations, with almost 90% of those from newspapers opposing them.
Now the question everyone who takes a daily newspaper will be asking: Was my local fishwrap’s CEO one of the the ones who said they would take a bailout?
