The Watauga County Board of Elections is holding a meeting – yesterday, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. – to determine where citizens want one-stop voting stations. The meeting was scheduled and advertised so as to invite people who can intercept news daily between 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., and who have the luxury of attending a meeting. Presumably, poor people can’t afford newspapers and can’t arrange rides. So there.
