Well Jerry, what now?

I — like you, I’m sure — never dreamed the Panthers would drop a 31-6 game to the Saints, at home. And it was not that close. I noticed that even Rosalind abandoned you in the fourth.

What do we do?

Cannot blame your better half, though. The stadium was no more than two-thirds full to start the game and fans only bled out during the afternoon as the Panthers showed no ability to compete. That has to be the worst aspect — fans see that this team has no chance to win football games.

What do we do with Pep? One very athletic INT, yes — but NO tackles for the game. How can that be? If you say that the problem is not his, then surely it lies with the DC. How else do you make a 6′-6″ 270lb. man invisible? So will you cut Trgo loose?

As for the offense. What offense? Yes, I know Jake is vital, but this bunch has NO chance to score. What is the deal with pretending Foster is a feature back? The man is living off of one great playoff TD run four years ago. Shades of Dan Morgan there.

Nevermind. This is a big waste of time.

Update: Didn’t Mayor Pat guarantee a win over the Saints, because the train would be running and all?
