One of John Locke Foundation President John Hood‘s latest contributions to “The Corner” blog at National Review Online attracted attention recently from the Kaiser Family Foundation’s KaiserNetwork.org. Hood discussed arguments about the impact of cost-shifting from emergency departments on health-care cost growth. Speaking of attention, Rush Limbaugh listeners heard some wise words this week from the late Austrian economist Friedrich Hayek. Though Limbaugh offered no citation, his quotation almost certainly came from a recent Free Market Minute posted by Karen Palasek, JLF Director of Educational and Academic Programs. Sticking with the education theme, Executive Vice President Kory Swanson and Director of Advancement Kristina Mitten Sanders helped educate a class of Elon University students this week about nonprofit management issues.
