At least one conference speaker referenced the recent debate JLF co-sponsored between William Schlesinger and John Christy, and more than one speaker referenced the work of Paul Chesser and Climate Strategies Watch. Chesser discusses mainstream media coverage of the New York event in his latest article for the American Spectator. Speaking of conferences, Carolina Journal Executive Editor Don Carrington has shared his expertise this week in a Civitas Institute conference focusing on investigative journalism training. In other news, Carolina Journal Radio co-host Donna Martinez earned some national attention this week, when the Weekly Standard‘s blog linked to her Right Angles blog entry on free speech issues at N.C. State University.
