Readers of Carolina Journal Online saw a fresh, new page design this week, thanks largely to the efforts of John Locke Foundation Vice President for Communications Jon Ham. One of the stories featured on CJO, Associate Editor David Bassreport about the questionable use of gas tax funds, attracted attention from N.C. Republicans’ Seeing Red Again blog. JLF Vice President for Research and Resident Scholar Roy Cordato attracted attention of his own this week from the Wheeling (W. Va.) Intelligencer, which covered his discussion during a recent campus visit about misguided federal stimulus and bailout measures. Speaking of other states, the Honolulu Advertiser recently featured JLF research about Charlotte’s mass transit program in an article about Hawaii’s mass-transit issues.
