Says here that the state is finally going to clean up I-77. About time.
But let’s see if the roads stay clean. The number one offender in junking up the roadsides is uncovered loads. Construction debris/material is routinuely spewed out onto the roads and surrounding traffic. This is supremely dangerous, not just unsightly.
The case a couple months back involving a box of sheet-metal screws shredding tires on 77 was a very close call. That could’ve easily resulting in an accident involving serious injury or death.
