Down here in Charlotte, more flailing about over ozone levels, this time the “mandatory steps” to reduce ozone levels.
Couple of the more obvious disconnects:
It is a bad air day. Bad, bad, air. If you have respiratory
problems, go stand out by the street and wait for a bus.
Bad air, gotta close down the drive-thrus. Can’t have all those cars just sitting there idling, conducting business. Nope. Meanwhile, over at the parking lot known as I-77… Seems like the most anti-ozone thing you could do is build more lanes.
